TAS Showcase Night 2025 

Last week, the school community gathered for an inspiring evening at the annual TAS/Visual Arts major work Showcase Night, where Year 12 students unveiled their major projects across Design and Technology, Industrial Technology Multimedia, and Industrial Technology Timber. The event was a vibrant celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and problem-solving, highlighting the incredible talent and dedication of our senior students.

Design and Technology 

Students in Design and Technology impressed with projects that tackled real-world challenges through innovative design thinking. From toddler swimming safety to sustainable product ideas, each project reflected months of research, testing, and refinement. The showcase offered a glimpse into the future of design, where functionality meets aesthetic appeal.

Design and Technology HSC SHAPE Expo Nominations

SHAPE is a selection of outstanding projects from HSC Design and Technology, Industrial Technology and Textiles and Design students and will be held at the University of Technology, Sydney from Monday 16 March 2026 to Saturday 11 April 2026.

Industrial Technology Multimedia 

Multimedia students brought digital creativity to life with interactive experiences, game design, and short films. Their work demonstrated mastery of software tools and storytelling techniques. Attendees were captivated by the immersive visuals and thoughtful narratives that pushed the boundaries of digital media.

Industrial Technology Timber 

The Timber section of the showcase was a testament to precision and craftsmanship. Students presented beautifully constructed furniture pieces, TV cabinets, and bespoke timber creations. Each project was a unique expression of skill and style, combining traditional woodworking techniques with modern design elements.

 

The TAS Showcase Night was more than just an exhibition—it was a celebration of student growth, resilience, and innovation. Families, staff, and peers were united in admiration as they explored the diverse range of projects and engaged with the creators behind them. The atmosphere was buzzing with pride and excitement, reminding us all of the power of hands-on learning and creative exploration.

 

Congratulations to all the Year 12 TAS students and their teachers, Ms Gamsaragan, Mr Chivers, Mr Christoforodis and Ms Benson for their outstanding achievements. Your work has set a high benchmark for future cohorts and left a lasting impression on everyone who attended.
