Primary School Sport
During Term 4, Primary students will participate in a variety of activities on a rotational basis. One of these activities is bushwalking.
Students are reminded to bring a hat, water bottle and apply sunscreen and carry asthma puffers/epipens if required.
Could families please provide consent for this on Compass by Thursday 23 October.
Primary Schools Cup Futsal
Congratulations to the two Stage 3 Futsal teams who travelled to Glen Innes on Friday to compete in the Primary Schools Futsal. Both teams played well and made it to the semi-finals. The Inverell Gold team reached the final, losing a very close match 2-1 to Ben Venue.
ACS Cricket Trials
Good luck to our students who will travel to Moree on Friday to trial for the ACS Cricket team.
Todd Woodbridge Cup State Finals
Congratulations to our Stage 3 team, who won the Todd Woodbridge Cup Regional Playoff held in Gunnedah last term. They will now progress to the Todd Woodbridge Cup State Finals in Parramatta on Monday 10 November.
ACS Netball and Soccer Gala Day
Congratulations to all our Primary students who attended the ACS Netball and Soccer Gala Day, here in Inverell last term. One of our junior netball teams was the champion on the day, and another came runner-up. One of our senior netball teams were also champions. We had a junior soccer team make the finals, unfortunately they were defeated by a very strong Armidale team. Congratulations on being runners-up.
All students displayed great sportsmanship and played their very best.

7-10 Sport News
School sport
Elective Sports begin in Week 1 and will run for the majority of the term. Students will be participating in one of the following: Indoor Sports, Pro Active Gym, Tennis, Lawn bowls, Cricket, Field Hockey and School Sport.
All students are reminded to bring a drink bottle, hat and apply sunscreen. Students going to Pro Active Gym are required to bring a towel.
NSW All Schools Athletics
Congratulations to Marlie Moffit who competed in the NSW All schools Athletics Championship. Marlie placed 4th in the 13 years girls Shot Put with a personal best throw of 8.60m.
