This week in SWPBS, students have been focusing on safe and responsible technology use. Our Super Skill has been: “I ask an adult before I use a new website.”

Staff have been explicitly teaching what this looks like in practice — stopping, checking with a trusted adult, and waiting for permission before clicking on unfamiliar links or websites. Students have practised this skill during classroom technology sessions and community-based learning.

Next week, we will continue reinforcing this skill across all settings to build safe online habits. Families can support this by encouraging students to ask before accessing new apps, games or websites at home.
