Father in heaven,

Many are the competing claims around us.

The gospel of your Son, fills us with hope and strength,

Yet the lure of false gospels is still strong.

Lead us in your ways,

Rescue us from the valleys of fear,

Level the mountains of our prejudices,

And straighten the crooked ways in our lives.

So we may rejoice in your gifts, now and forever.
