Term 2 - Important Dates 

  • Friday 20th June Milo Morning
  • Friday 20th June K-6 Assembly 
  • Friday 22nd June Milo Morning, Bacon & Egg Roll, 9:10am K-2 Mass, Year 2 Assembly/Parent Walk Thru 12pm. 

Compass Consent & Info 

Please be sure to check compass regularly to see if you are needed to consent to any events for your child/ren or read any important information. 

Save the Date for Naidoc 30th June - 3rd July 

30th of June 

  • 10am Opening Ceremony 

  • 10:30am - 11am Open Classrooms Primary 

  • 11am - 11:30am BYO Morning Tea, followed by a full day of Naidoc classroom activities for students. 

1st of July 

  • Naidoc Primary Touch Football Competition at Moree East Public School (for selected students. Trials will be available to students who have nominated to play) 

  • Deadly Doors Winners Announced 

2nd of July 

  • Secondary Touch at School with Moree Police, Guumali followed by Sausage sizzle for entire School. 

  • Primary Afternoon of Indigenous Games

  • Deadly Doors Winners announced 

3rd of July

  • Secondary Naidoc Touch Competition again Moree Secondary College at MSC (for students who nominated to play). 

  • Deadly Doors winner prizes awarded

     

    Wii Gaay Learning Hub 1

    We have four students looking forward to travelling to the University of New England to attend their Learning Hub 1. Theses students will head off on 16th of June and return on the 20th of June. 

Deadly Doors Competition

This year we are holding our deadly door competition again. The idea is that each primary and secondary class create a deadly design in this years Naidoc theme. A winning class will be chosen from each department by our AEA team and awarded on the last day of school this term. Jaimee & Georgie have had a walk around while students worked on their doors and we are excited to say we have seen so many deadly designs coming to life.

Canteen

Recess and Lunch orders can be ordered on the Compass app. Please see the steps below for ordering. If emergency meals need to be dropped to the school, please take note of the students break times and have meals at school on time. This will help your child have a smoother day and not miss crucial learning in the classroom. 

Primary Break Times - 

Recess: 11am - 11:30am

Lunch: 1pm - 1:30pm

Secondary Break Times - 

Recess: 11.10am - 11:40am

Lunch: 1:40pm - 2:10pm
