Health & PE

This week in Health and PE we discussed how we are responsible, with the support of our family, for making healthy choices, and, when we make healthy choices, this results in positive consequences for our health and wellbeing!
Grade 5/6 students focused on cross country training and their chosen team sport for this Friday’s District Sport Day – netball or football. It was wonderful to note our senior students’ team work and support for one another!
Grade F-4 students engaged in some more tabloid games this week in preparation for the F-2 Tabloid Sports Day next term. Each class enjoyed putting their skills into practise in the various games. It is wonderful to observe great concentration, effort and confidence in our students! Grade 2-4 also enjoyed some basketball skills work and some cross country training – we have some keen grade 2 runners which is a head start for next year!
All grades will finish the term next week with a fun end of term games session. Well done to each grade for passing 5 stickers on their chart, resulting in this end of term reward! Wonderful effort!
District Sports Day – well done to all of our Grade 3 to 6 students who attended Wesley Hill Recreation Reserve today. Our netball and football teams played a great day of matches, showed wonderful team work and skills and, most importantly, enjoyed themselves! Our Grade 3/4 students enjoyed participating in basketball, netball and football clinics throughout the day. Congratulations to all of our students for representing yourselves and our school so responsibly
