Hayley Northridge & Sports Captains

Interschool Sport

Our GOLD teams hosted Hazel Glen today. 

  • Our gold boys/mixed cricket team worked hard but went down by 4 runs. Our girls team showed determination but couldn't get the win. 
  • All the gold basketball teams showed great sportsmanship. Our boys/mixed team and mixed team both got the win. The girls are displaying great teamwork. Although they didn't get the win, they are showing big improvements each week.  
  • Both our boys' and girls' T-ball teams continue to display hard work and teamwork each week. 

     

    The BLUE teams headed to Mernda PS. 

  • The T-ball team didn't win, but they tried their best and never gave up. 
  • Our blue basketball teams faced tough competition; however, they worked hard to get some points on the board with our mixed team getting the win.
  • The blue cricket team, unfortunately, couldn't get the win; however, they scored some runs and showed great teamwork.  
  • Today we had a make some changes to our teams due to absences. I would like to thank those students that volunteered to move teams to help support both staff and students. A special shout out to Taj Martin and Tink Kolotelo who have moved teams for the last 2 weeks, helping their peers succeed.

Lawn Bowls Gala Day

On Wednesday, 18th March, 16 Year 6 students took part in the District Lawn Bowls Gala Day. All 4 teams tried their best and improved as the day went on, winning games and showing great sportsmanship, encouraging each other and their opponents. Overall, we finished 4th, which is a fantastic effort.  Well Done to all our Lawn Bowls teams!!

Cross Country

3-6 Students

On Wednesday 1st April, students in Years 3-6 will participate in the Whittlesea Primary School 3-6 Cross Country. Depending on your child's age group, students will run either 2km or 3km at Walker's Reserve. Students will arrive at 9:00am and sit in their house colours. Students may bring a drink bottle with them if they wish, but no bags or food (we will be back for lunch break).

Students are welcome to wear their House Colours.

11 BOYS - 9.45am

12/13 BOYS - 10.15am

10:45am Finish and return to school

 

F-2 Mini Cross Country

On Wednesday 1st April the F-2 cohort will be having their own mini cross-country. The students will be running laps and collecting points. Parents are invited to watch from 2:30pm on the oval. We will finish the cross country with a mini dance party as a fun way to celebrate. The students are invited to wear their house colours.
