On Friday, 13 March, our community gathered from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm to officially launch our Master Plan—a milestone event honouring 50 years of achievement and boldly setting our vision for the next 50 years.
The launch was attended by distinguished VIP guests from religious organisations and all levels of government, including Bishop Antoine‑Charbel Tarabay, Hon Jason Clare MP, Minister for Education, Hon Dr Andrew Charlton MP, Federal Member for Parramatta and Assistant Minister of Science, Technology and the Digital Economy, and Ms Julia Finn MP, attending on behalf of NSW Premier Chris Minns.
The program featured inspiring presentations from Board Chair Mr George Khouri, Principal Sr Margaret, and our master plan architects, Leaf Architecture, who shared the vision shaping our future. The celebration was enriched by a vibrant Dabke performance, reflecting our cultural heritage, and concluded with addresses from Hon Jason Clare and Hon Dr Andrew Charlton, affirming their support for our mission and future growth.
This landmark event marked both a proud celebration of our past and an exciting step forward into the next chapter of our story.

Our Open Day on Wednesday, 25 March 2026, was a great success, with over 180 guests registered to attend between 9:30 am and 11:30 am.
The morning began on a high note as guests were welcomed by live music performed by our students, setting a warm and vibrant tone for the event. Visitors then enjoyed guided tours of the school, morning tea, and a series of informative presentations that highlighted community life at MCHF.
A highlight of the morning was the Principal’s welcome, followed by an engaging Q&A session with members of the Executive team and students, which provided families with valuable insights and the opportunity to ask questions directly.
It was a truly positive and energising morning, and we thank all staff, students, and visitors who contributed to making our Open Day such a memorable experience.

Thank you to Mary S., Year 10 Student photographer, for capturing these images.

Our K–2 Hat Parade was a colourful celebration of creativity, confidence, and community spirit. Students proudly showcased their wonderfully decorated hats as families and staff cheered them on, filling the playground with smiles and excitement.
A heartfelt thank you to our Parent Association for organising the vibrant backdrop and providing the sweet treats that made the morning even more special. Your ongoing support helps create memorable experiences for our youngest learners, and we are truly grateful.

Our first Parent Learning Lounge was a fantastic opportunity to come together and explore how our school approaches policy, behaviour and IT in a practical, supportive way. Thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us and contributed to such thoughtful conversations. Your engagement makes a real difference to our partnership in learning. We’re already looking forward to welcoming you back for our next session in four weeks.

This term, we were delighted to welcome a group of preschool students to our College to experience what it is like to come to a big school. The children had a wonderful time exploring our Kindergarten classrooms and becoming familiar with the learning spaces.
During their visit, the students enjoyed listening to a story together, practising their counting skills, and taking part in a short hands-on activity. It was a lovely opportunity for them to begin building confidence and excitement about starting school.
We loved having our special visitors at MCHF and look forward to welcoming them back again soon!
