A Working Bee Thank You!

Ruth Tesselaar

What beautiful weather we had on Sunday for the first BNWPS Working Bee of the year, with some great projects achieved! The Gaga pit is now topped up with  fresh sand, the olive grove near the Stella stairs is looking superb having been weeded and mulched, and you can now walk down Wales street unimpeded by trees growing over the footpath. We also had time to enjoy an amazing spread for morning tea (thank you to everyone who pitched in for this!), and to do some weeding and mulching in Yakai Barring.  And all of this in just three hours!! Many hands do indeed make light work!

A huge shout out to our amazing helpers.  We had a fantastic 18 families come along and pitch in! Elle, Shan, Archie and Mabel; Elton, Essie, Tahnee, and Sam; Theo, Ruth, and Danny; Casie and Ezra; Penny and Lisa; Daiane, Rodrigo, Pietro, and Aurora; Kirrily, Daphne, and Willa; Ruth, Nick, Tessa, and Patty; Elijah, Jemems, and Natalie; Imogen, Quinn, Anika, and Rohan; Sarah and Peter; Ramon and Seamus; Pietro, Aurora, Rodrigo, and Diane; Name, Jett, and Sadie; Emlim, Chris, and Ebony; Sofia, Raf, and Tess; Eli; Jen, Marlie, and Thea; and Ian (who taught us all the difference between weed and not!)

Congratulations to our four lucky door prize winners, each scoring a double pass to the Kabloom Festival of Flowers during the school holidays.
