Zoe at our Open Day

Mural - Polly Farmer Follow the Dream

At our Wellbeing and Cultural Appreciation Day back in term one, our students worked with Joe Manning and Molly West on creating our very own mural.  This was a continuation of the project which started in 2024 by students, staff and community members coming together to share culture, creativity and connection.

At our Open Day, we had this on displayed and it was presented to our College.  The symbols and colours reflect nature, land and the importance of looking after ourselves, each other and Country. This mural is a reminder that when we come together, we are stronger, healthier and united.   This will now be displayed with pride at WACOA Cunderdin.

What a great day!  We had the privilege of speaking to many students about Cunderdin Ag and the Wellbeing and Careers classes we offer as well as catching up with many parents of current students.  Thanks to all our special helpers on the day.

We were lucky enough to have Zoe Christison come along and talk to

Year 12 Careers class about her life, her time here at WA College of Agriculture Cunderdin and about her career journey so far.

It was heartwarming to hear about the opportunities that opened up for her after attending WA College of Agriculture Cunderdin and hearing about her success in winning a traineeship with Fortescue Metals Group after being up against 1700 other applicants.

Zoe is now president of the Women in Farming Organisation, is part of the First 5 Impact Leadership Program, and working on her family farm in Tammin.

Thank you, Zoe, for your inspiration and message to the students to grab whatever opportunity comes your way.
