Open Day 2026
What an incredible success our 2026 Open Day was!
It was wonderful to welcome so many visitors, prospective students, families, and past students who took the time to explore our Residential facilities and chat with staff and student representatives.
We were especially pleased to host more than 50 dormitory tour groups throughout the day, making this our most successful Open Day to date.
A huge thank you goes to our student helpers: Joseph, Mollie, Riley, Jordy, Reagan, Raylin, Matthew, Jyse, Nixan, Beau, Archie, James, Jesse, Lachlan, Knox, and Harper. Your enthusiasm, professionalism, and willingness to assist across the boarding facilities, kitchen, and gardens played a significant role in making the day such a success. We are incredibly proud of the way you represented the College and Residential community.
We had a visit from two past students who were in Weller dorm in 1970. Jack and Max regaled us with stories of the "good ol' bad ol' days" Joseph and Matthew showed them to their old rooms and they were very happy that they are boarding here in 2026 not 1970. Both gentlemen stated that their time here at Cunderdin Ag shaped them into the men they are today.
End of Term Preparations for Year 12 Students
As we approach the end of Term 3, Year 12 students are encouraged to begin preparing for their departure from Residential (insert sad face here !!) . Taking personal belongings home over the coming weekends will help make the final weeks of term smoother and less stressful.
Before leaving, students will need to ensure that:
Rooms are thoroughly cleaned.
Any maintenance issues have been reported.
All personal belongings, including photos, posters, and stickers, have been removed.
The room is left completely empty and free from damage, including mattresses and furniture.
Residential sign-off will only be completed once rooms have been inspected and meet the required standard. Room inspections will take place prior to students leaving in Week 10.
September Holiday Preparation
The Year 11 Weller and Linto dormitories will be used to accommodate Curtin University postgraduate Agriculture students during the September holidays.
To assist with preparations, students are asked to:
Take all linen home for washing.
Remove all food items from rooms.
Take home any photos or items displayed on walls.
Store personal belongings neatly in cupboards or under beds.
