ArtsFest 2026: Industrial Lines

Gallery Image

Welcome to Girton Grammar's Art Exhibition, where students from Prep to Year 12 explore line and form through industrial motifs. Straight, bent, zigzagged, or bolted together lines are where it all begins!

Industrial Lines takes our overarching theme of Line to Design and gives it a hard hat and a tool belt, exploring the gears, girders, pipes and geometry of the industrial world through the eyes of artists aged 5 to 18. Expect grids that gridlock, structures that stack and designs that click into place like the machinery that inspired them. Come and explore how a simple line can build a whole world of creativity, one edge at a time.

Opening times:

Friday 11 September - Junior School Grandparents' & Special Friends' Day 9am - 1pm

Exciting news! Girton's Got Heart 2026 will be held on Friday 30 October.

Girton’s Got Heart is a social evening for all Girton parents held this year at Whitby Bendigo. There will be food and drinks, music, dancing, a silent auction and the famous Wine Wall. This year, we are proud to support Sunshine Bendigo.

Sunshine Bendigo is a community-based, volunteer group that provides practical support to families in central Victoria experiencing challenging times, by collecting, sorting and redistributing essential and pre-loved baby goods and nursery items. Funds raised on the evening will go to Sunshine Bendigo to provide supplies, enabling them to continue their great work.

We would love your support in making this event a success, and there are many ways you can help. Firstly, please come along!

Early Bird offer available until August 31: receive a special drink on arrival included in the ticket price.

We are also seeking donations of the following items:

  • goods or services for our silent auction (items up to the value of $500 have been most popular in the past)
  • high-end food items, toiletries and gifts for our luxury hampers, which will be auctioned on the night
  • bottles of wine for our Wine Wall.

Please drop off all wine and hamper items at Junior School Reception or Morey Reception. Wine must be delivered to the Reception by Adults Only.

Additionally, we have sponsorship opportunities available for event items, such as our band/DJ ($1,500) and decorations/flowers ($500), all of which will improve our fundraising efforts for Sunshine Bendigo.

Businesses and families that support our event will be featured in our event advertising, including the Girton Facebook page, Girton eLink newsletter, Girton parent Facebook groups, and communications to the school community promoting the event. We will also ensure recognition is given on the night.

Your support will not only benefit a very important local charity but will also provide great exposure for your business.

Everyone in the Girton community is invited, so please join us for a night of fun, reconnecting with old friends and making new friends.

On behalf of the Girton’s Got Heart 2026 Committee, we thank you for your support and look forward to seeing you all in October.
