ITALIAN DAY 2026!

It was fantastic to see everyone getting into the spirit of this year’s Italian Day. The costumes were fabulous, and the enthusiasm across the school made it a truly memorable celebration.
Students enjoyed a wide variety of activities throughout the day, including building bridges in STEM, testing their knowledge with Italian trivia, and taking part in a graffiti-style reflection activity focused on Italian inventions, landmarks, and food. There was also a creative art activity inspired by everyday Italian words.
A big thank you to our students who confidently led the assembly, and to our Prep, Year 1, and Year 2 students who performed a song with such energy and enthusiasm. A special mention goes to Lucinda Franco (Noah in Prep’s mum), who treated us to a beautiful Italian song “il Canto”.
Some students enjoyed a game of bocce at lunch time .We finished the day with an engaging incursion, La favola dell’ingrediente segreto, where students participated with great joy and excitement.
Students also enjoyed delicious crostoli and pizza for lunch. A big thank you to Melissa and Angelo Fornaro (parents of Simonetta 5/6GN and Isabella 3/4RG) from Tarantino’s Pizza for making and delivering the pizzas.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all the parents who attended the assembly, helped serve the pizza, and assisted their children with costumes and clothing on the day. Your support ensures events like this are successful and enjoyed by our whole school community.
In the next newsletter we will hear from some of students about their personal experience on Italian day
Grazie mille!
