Nazareth Taster Day

On Wednesday, 24 June, our Grade 5 students visited Nazareth Secondary College for a special Taster Day. They spent the day experiencing what learning in a secondary school is like and enjoyed taking part in a variety of exciting lessons.

Students participated in PE, Music, Woodwork, Art, STEM and Italian, where they had the opportunity to try new activities, learn new skills, and work with secondary school teachers. Throughout the day, students showed curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to challenge themselves by stepping outside their comfort zones.

We were very impressed with the mature behaviour, positive attitudes, and excellent manners our students displayed. They represented Silverton Primary School with pride and were respectful, responsible, and engaged in every activity. It was a valuable experience that helped students build confidence, prepare for the transition to secondary school, and look forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
