How long have you worked at MSDS/ what is your role?

21 years as a teacher, leading teacher & now the very best job there is - the Principal!

When you were little, what did you aspire to be?

A chocolate creator like Willy Wonka.

What is your favourite colour?

I have two... blue & pink.

An interesting fact about you?

I shook hands with the Queen twice. Once at one of her garden parties and once when she opened a distillery in Scotland - I was there for the scenery not the whisky ;)

Why did you want to become a teacher?

I first wanted to become a teacher because I had an amazing teacher who inspired me. I wanted to become a special needs teacher because of an amazing child I worked with that had special needs, who taught me the difference that we can make in the life of children who need it most. 

What is your favourite food?

Mexican. Or anything spicy!

What has been a highlight of your time at MSDS?

Becoming Principal of course!

What are you most proud of?

My 2 boys!
