Welcome to Term 3 Week 9
On my drive home from school this week, I noticed small pink buds beginning to emerge from the bare branches of the trees. With the sun shining, everything seemed a little brighter and happier. It was a beautiful reminder that growth is always taking place, often quietly and in its own time. As we reach the end of another busy term, I hope we can pause to celebrate how far our children have come and feel proud of them, wherever they may be on their learning journey.
Loving God,
Thank you for the growth we see in our children each day. Help us celebrate every step of their journey and support them with patience, encouragement, and love.

Happy Father's Day
We hope all our fathers, grandfathers and father figures had a wonderful Father’s Day on the weekend. What beautiful weather we had to celebrate!
Thank you to 1/2W for leading our special Father’s Day liturgy on Friday. May God bless all the wonderful fathers and father figures in our St Peter’s community.
St Peter's Concert
What a show! Congratulations to all our performers in Save Our Little Blue Dot. Their excitement and enthusiasm certainly filled the theatre!
Performing Arts gives our students a wonderful opportunity to build confidence, express themselves and experience the excitement of being on stage. Bringing a production of this scale to life requires an enormous amount of planning, preparation and commitment. Our sincere thanks go firstly to Miss Scott, whose hard work and dedication made the production possible, along with Ms Burnie and all staff who assisted throughout. We also thank Sacred Heart Girls’ College for their partnership and our families for their wonderful support.

Celebrating Two Special Weddings
We are delighted to celebrate two staff weddings over the school holidays! Ms Rumble will marry her fiancé, Kaelen, and will return to St Peter’s as Mrs McKinnon. Mr Van Boxtel will also celebrate his wedding to his fiancée, Cara.
We wish both couples beautiful wedding days and a lifetime of love, joy and happiness. May God bless Emily and Kaelen, and Domenic and Cara, as they begin this wonderful new chapter together. Congratulations!
Remembering Ross Williams
I was deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Ross Williams, Principal of Our Lady of Lourdes School in Bayswater. I had the privilege of working alongside Ross for many years and know how deeply his loss will be felt across the Our Lady of Lourdes community. We hold Ross’s family, colleagues, students and all who knew him in our thoughts and prayers.

Rose Street Safety
An email was sent to families this week regarding safety concerns in Rose Street during drop-off and pick-up times. Please remember that Rose Street is one-way for vehicles during these times. Do not make U-turns, stop in the middle of the street or allow children to move between cars. If there are no parks near the gate, please park safely further along Rose Street or drive around the block. Thank you for helping keep all our children safe.
Footy Colours Day
Don’t forget to wear your favourite team colours on Friday, 18 September! Students will enjoy a range of Footy Fun activities as we celebrate the end of Term 3. School finishes at 1:00 pm on this day.
