Harmony Week
Harmony Week provides an opportunity for us to recognise and celebrate the diversity that strengthens our school community. We are proud of our multicultural community and the many cultures, experiences and perspectives that our students and families bring.
Throughout the week, students have been engaging in classroom activities and conversations to learn more about one another and to celebrate who we are as a community. These experiences support students to understand that everyone belongs and that our differences are something to be valued.
Rear Access Security
We have recently completed improvements to security at the rear of the school. A new gate and fencing have been installed at the shared access point behind Unit D, and the bike storage area has also been further secured. These upgrades are designed to strengthen the safety of our site while still allowing appropriate access for our community. We appreciate your support in ensuring gates are used as intended and kept closed when not in use.
Marley Update
We are pleased to share that Marley will be continuing as part of our school community.
While I have been Marley’s primary handler to date, another staff member will be stepping into this role to ensure Marley can remain at Marlborough Primary School for the benefit of our students. This transition is being carefully planned to support both Marley’s wellbeing and the ongoing success of the program.
Marley has already had a positive impact across the school, supporting student wellbeing and engagement. We look forward to seeing this program continue to grow in a thoughtful and sustainable way.
NAPLAN
Well done to our Grade 3 & 5 students on your completion of the NAPLAN assessments. We are proud of the way our students have engaged witht he opportunity and given their best effort. Congratulations kids!
Warmly,
Tim
