Year 10 Work Experience

 

All Year 10 Students should be now approaching employers and finalising their legally required paperwork to complete work experience on 27 April - 1May.

 

If your family runs a business or you work within a business that would like to host a Year 10 student, please forward your details to careers@sje.vic.edu.au, and we can support students in making contact with you.

These April school holidays, we invite students and their families to experience Deakin for themselves. Students can join a student-led campus or accommodation tour, asking questions along the way. Then diving deeper at our course information expo with expert staff and current students. They can expect to see Deakin through students’ eyes: 

  • Stepping inside our world-class facilities and inspiring learning spaces.
  • Hearing real stories about studying and living at Deakin.
  • Getting an honest insight into courses and uni life from the people living it now.

 

Tour dates and times

Tours leave every 30 minutes from 9am to 3pm. Please allow 1.5 hours to get the most out of your on-campus experience.

LaTrobe University Talk & Tours

Are you interested in studying at La Trobe, then if so you should attend La Trobe Bendigo’s Talk and Tour sessions, running Monday, 13 April to Wednesday, 15 April 2026.

 

These sessions allow students to meet course academics, gain insight into what it’s like to study at La Trobe, ask questions, and feel confident about their future study options.

 

They’ll also connect with our Student Ambassadors and experience a guided tour of the Bendigo campus, showcasing key facilities and our on-campus accommodation.

News from ANU in 2026

 

Applications for 2027 Entry

Current domestic Year 12 students who intend applying directly to ANU for an Early Offer for undergraduate study in 2027 are advised that direct applications open on Wednesday 11 March 2026, and close on Friday 8 May 2026.  Early offers are released in September each year. Students can start their applications at any time and log back in, as needed, to complete the process.  

The Early Offer application to ANU will prompt applicants to provide specific documentation, and students are encouraged to be prepared and gather the following documentation:

  • Year 11 result and Year 12 subject enrolment.
  • Documents supporting their eligibility for adjustment factors
  • Additional documentation may be required depending on their circumstance, and students will be notified if anything else is required during your application.

 

Students are advised to read through the Application Information before applying at Applying to ANU.
