YEAR 8
Building Strong Connections

Head of Year 8
A reminder that all tents are to be dropped at the College by 8:30am on Monday morning, 11 May. Tents need to be dropped off at the maintenance shed (located at the end of the driveway, near J Block). Students will be practising building their tents during Sport on Tuesday next week. Students will not have access to their tents again until they return from camp.
Thank you to the families who have already completed the Parent Slip for camp and provided detailed medical and dietary requirements. If you have not yet completed this form, it is now outstanding. Your prompt attention is appreciated to assist us with planning and preparations.
This week, students were invited to register their interest in assisting as ushers for the upcoming College Open Evening in Week 5. This is a great opportunity for our Year 8 students to demonstrate leadership and contribute to our theme of ‘Building Connections’ by welcoming prospective families and showcasing our College community.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and mother figures in our community who nurture, support, and positively impact our Year 8 students. During Community PG on Friday, I encouraged the Year 8s to spoil you this Sunday - I hope a lovely breakfast in bed greets you to start your day!
