Musical

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory rehearsals got underway in Week 2. Rehearsals are on three times a week at both colleges. The show is going to be fantastic and a lot of fun. Performances are at CPAC from May 2 to 4, and tickets go on sale soon. Contracts need to be returned asap. Payments can be made through the uniform shop on the Saints website.

Musical camp is at the end of the holidays – April 13 & 14 at Saints in Lennon Hall. 

Instrumental Music

Ensemble rehearsals commenced in Week 2. If your son plays an instrument and is interested in joining one of these, please email me at cspannenbu@cns.catholic.edu.au asap. Please see the rehearsal schedule below:

You'll notice that we have added a new ensemble – Guitar Ensemble in 2024. All students who have instrumental music lessons at the College are expected to join an appropriate ensemble. The guitar ensemble gives our guitarists an opportunity to play in a group which will be a lot of fun with some great repertoire coming their way.

A reminder that the times given above are the starting times. All students should arrive at least five minutes before the rehearsal starting time.

Instrumental lessons also commenced in Week 2. If your son is interested in learning an instrument, please contact me on the above email address for more information. 

2024

Our program is busy and vibrant with many opportunities for performances. We entertain assemblies, perform in productions and music nights as well as provided liturgical music for the College. There is plenty of activities to participate in.

There will be information in the newsletter and parent slips sent out. Below is a calendar of events planned so far. This will be added to during the year, so please reread it each edition to check that you are abreast of all that his happening.
