Farewell

We have a number of staff members leaving the GPS team at the end of the year. We wish them all the very best and thank them for their service to our school:

Ms Brianna Hockley 307, Year 1/2 

This term we’re saying farewell to Ms Brianna Hockley, who has been with GPS since 2023. Brianna has brought so much joy, calm and kindness to her 1/2 class, and her positive energy will be missed. Thank you, Brianna, for everything you’ve brought to our school community.

Ms Galia Kay 410, Year 3/4 

We’re farewelling Ms Galia Kay this term and want to recognise the thoughtful and gentle way she’s supported her 3/4 students. Her steady presence and genuine care have meant a lot to both students and staff. Thank you, Galia, for all you’ve given to GPS—wishing you the very best ahead.

Ms Stephanie Palmer  409, Year 3/4 

This term we say goodbye to Ms Stephanie Palmer and thank her for the enthusiasm and dedication she has brought to her 3/4 class. Stephanie has created a warm and welcoming space for her students, and we truly appreciate her commitment. Thank you, Stephanie, for your time at GPS and all your hard work.

Ms India Hutchinson 404, Year 5/6

We’re also saying farewell to Ms India Hutchinson, who has brought a bright, energetic and engaging approach to her 5/6 classroom. Her students have benefited greatly from her encouragement and positivity. Thank you, India, for your contribution to GPS—best of luck in your next chapter.

Natasha Giles 304, 306, 402 

We’d like to thank Ms. Giles for the care and support she has given her students this year. Her calm approach and positive attitude have been appreciated by both staff and families. We wish her all the best and will miss having her as part of our team.

Chanelle Barthelson  Year 5/6 

We’d also like to thank Ms. Barthelson for the effort and dedication she has shown in her 5/6 area. She has built strong connections with her students and contributed greatly to the team. We wish her well for the future and thank her for everything she’s done this year.
