2026 Governing Council

Join the Governing Council!

Have you thought about getting more involved in your child’s school? Now’s your chance! The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held after the Open Evening on Tuesday, 3 February, and all parents/carers with children enrolled in 2026 are eligible to nominate for election.

 

Eligibility: Parents/carers cannot nominate if they are bankrupt, have certain convictions, or if they are permanent Department employees (employees can’t be Chairperson or make up the majority). All volunteers must hold a Working with Children Check, which the school arranges.

 

If elected, you can choose to join a subcommittee or hold an office bearer role. We currently have 3 continuing members and 9 vacant positions for 1- or 2-year terms.

 

Roles available:

  • Office Bearers: Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary
  • Subcommittees: Finance Advisory, Education, Canteen
