Sacrament of Reconciliation Family Workshop
Thank you to all our wonderful families who joined us last week for the Reconciliation Family Workshop as our students prepare to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time on Tuesday, 27 October. It was lovely to see parents and children share this special time together as they reflected on God's love, kindness, and forgiveness. Led by Brittany Ford, the workshop included meaningful activities such as writing a personal 'Sorry Prayer', creating a sheep inspired by the Parable of the Lost Sheep, and exploring the story of Zacchaeus. These beautiful experiences reminded us that God loves each of us unconditionally, is always ready to forgive and welcomes us with open arms. Thank you to Brittany for guiding our families through such a special evening and to our parents for the love and support they continue to give their children on their faith journey. We keep all our students and their families in our prayers as they prepare for this important milestone.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Next Tuesday, October 27th, many of our Year 2 students and some students from other year levels will take a very special step in their faith journey as they receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. This is a significant and meaningful occasion as the children experience God's loving forgiveness, mercy and grace in a beautiful way. We warmly congratulate these students and thank their teachers for the care, guidance, and preparation they have provided to help the children understand the importance of this Sacrament. Please keep these children and their families in your prayers as they prepare for this special celebration. May they always remember that God's love is unconditional and that He is always ready to welcome us with open arms.

My Reconciliation Prayer
Loving and forgiving God,
your light and forgiveness
always surround me.
Thank you for the people you have given me,
who show me how to live,
who teach me about thoughtfulness and generosity,
who forgive me, like you do.
Each time I experience your forgiveness,
especially in the Sacrament of Reconciliation,
I know how much I am loved,
I want to keep growing,
I want to live just like Jesus.
Thank you, loving God, for your mercy and forgiveness.
Help me always live what I pray,
through Jesus, your Son,
Amen.
