Visual Arts Term 4

And just like that, we have reached the final term of the year! What an exciting term we have ahead of us as we work towards our much-anticipated Art Show in Week 9. 

This term, students from Foundation through to Grade 6 will continue their artistic journey around the world, exploring and drawing inspiration from different cultures, countries and continents. Students will discover inspiring artists, explore different artistic traditions and techniques, and learn fascinating facts about the art and cultures of communities from across the globe.

As we work towards bringing our Art Show to life, students will be busy creating and completing their final artworks. Over the next nine weeks, students will create at least three more artworks that will become part of our wonderful exhibition.

Framing Fridays

To help us prepare for the Art Show, we will be holding Framing Fridays on:

Friday 13th November

Friday 20th November

Friday 27th NovemberFrom 1.50pm onwards

Parents and carers are warmly invited to join us in the Art Room to help with framing students' artwork for the Artshow.

Art Show Set-Up Helpers Needed

I will also be looking for some wonderful parent/carer volunteers to help us transform the school into an exciting Art Show exhibition.

It is going to be a creative, colourful, fun and exciting final term in the Art Room, and I cannot wait to see our students' wonderful artworks come together for what promises to be a very special Art Show.
