Potential Stop Work Action

The AEU is currently planning another day of stop work action for Wednesday 19th August (next week). Unfortunately, we will not have confirmation if the action is going ahead until early next week. Please keep an eye on your emails or the Compass Newsfeed for up to date information.

Based on the attendance from previous days of action, at this stage, any students that would like to work from school on Wednesday are welcome to attend. There will be a modified timetable and program for the day.

Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey (PCGOS)

This annual Department survey will be open from Monday 17th August until Friday 18th September. While the survey is optional, I strongly encourage one member from all families to participate, so all families are represented. The online survey takes about 20 minutes to complete and can be completed on a range of devices. It collects family perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement.

Families will be emailed a survey link with more information by Monday.

Position Vacant

With no applicants, we had to re-advertise the 1 day a week Education Support position. This job can be found and applied for via School Jobs (position number 1537398). We are looking for someone who can work on a Thursday. Please share this information with anyone who may be interested or suitable to apply for this role. School Council Meeting

Our meeting last week had to be postponed due to not having a quorum. This meeting has been moved to Tuesday 18th of August, 6.30pm in Room 9 or online. Observers are always welcome.
