Stage 2 Assistant Principal

Stage 2 students have been learning how to write persuasive texts, focusing on convincing their audience through strong reasons, emotive language and persuasive devices. Students have been writing to persuade their parents to allow them to design their own dream bedroom.

Students have developed their understanding of the structure and key features of persuasive writing and how to effectively convince their audience. They are now publishing their final pieces and will annotate their writing to identify their strengths, reflect on their learning and identify their next steps for improvement.
