Dear Families, Students and Staff,

The Level Crossing Project is fully underway and will be impacting journeys around the college for at least the next twelve months.

Many families appear to be successfully navigating the need to add more time to their journeys, a huge ‘Thank You’ to you for ensuring your children get safely to school on time.

Also, a big ‘Well Done’ to the students who recognise that if they use public transport, then they need to purposefully catch earlier buses and trains so that they can arrive to school on time.

This email is to notify you about changes to train services on the Frankston and Stony Point lines from 18/08/2025 until mid-2026; for community members who use public transport, please take note of the important information this email contains.

As always, I will add pertinent information to the Mordialloc College Website and continue to send out information that may significantly impact members of the community via Compass.

18/08/2025-28/08/2025: Buses replace trains:   

Buses replace trains on sections of the  Frankston and Stony Point lines between:

Cheltenham, Frankston and Stony Point,

from 8:30pm Monday 18 August to 8.30pm Friday 22 August.

Caulfield, Frankston and Stony Point

from 8.30pm Friday 22 August to last service Sunday 24 August.

Cheltenham, Frankston and Stony Point

from Monday 25 August to 8.30pm Tuesday 26 August.

Moorabbin, Frankston and Stony Point

from 8.30pm Tuesday 26 August to last service Thursday 28 August.

29/08/2025-Mid-2026: Frankston Line temporary timetable and service changes:

Frankston Line trains will run to an altered timetable from Friday 29 August to mid-2026. Timetable information is available at ptv.vic.gov.au/timetables
