ITS HOUSE ATHLETICS WEEK!!

Senior Carnival 

Who: Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 students

Date: Wednesday, July 30th 

Location: Meadowglen Athletics Stadium

Time: 8.45am-3.10pm

**students will be travelling by bus to the track, refer to compass permission form

Junior Carnival

Who: Foundation, Year 1 and 2

Date: Thursday, July 31st 

Location: MPHPS oval

Time: Athletics rotations 9am, Sprints 11.20am

Event Purpose: The aim of the House Athletics Carnival is for students to showcase their personal best and perseverance in a range of Athletics events.

What to Wear: Students should come dressed in their house colours. Optional face paint and hairspray can be done at home.

Spectators: Spectators are very welcome! 

Please enjoy the event from the designated spectator area and a reminder if taking photos, that it is of your child only.

DIVISION TEEBALL TOURNAMENT

Goodluck to our Heights tee ball teams who will be competing at the Whittlesea Division Tee ball Tournament tomorrow, Tuesday 29th July. We will be taking 20 students to compete in this carnival representing the Bundoora District Schools. The teams have been training hard at their lunchtimes and we are looking forward to the day.

HOOP TIME BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

Goodluck to our Heights basketball teams who will compete at the Annual BDSSA Hoop time Tournament this Friday August 1. We will be taking a squad of 32 students making up 4 teams to compete on the day. The best of luck to everyone involved!

DIVISION NETBALL TOURNAMENT

Congratulations to our Rockets Girls Netball team who were successful in winning their grand final in the weekly summer sport competition in term 1. The team has been hard at work training with our guest development coaches from St Monica College and the PE Team. We will take the students to compete in the Whittlesea Division Netball Tournament next Thursday August 7, they will represent the Bundoora District Schools. Good luck, we are looking forward to a great tournament day!!! 

STATE CROSS COUNTRY 

Well done to Jaida who competed in the State Cross Country last Thursday July 24 at Yarra Glen racecourse. Jaida finished 33rd out of 95 runners. This is such a huge achievement! Well done Jaida!!!
