Imaginarium Rehearsal and Performance Information

Remaining whole school rehearsals 

Week 6: Thursday 28th August - Flexispace (Sports uniform)

Week 7: Monday 1st September  - Flexispace (Full costume rehearsal see below)

Week 7: Friday 5th September - Logue Hall approx 1:30pm-3pm (Sports uniform)

Production Costume

Students to provide:

• white singlet, white undershirt or white sports crop 
• blue denim jeans (any shade/no ripped jeans)
• runners

School has already purchased and decorated:

• performance t-shirt 

(which will be kept at school throughout the production)

Monday 1st September Dress Rehearsal

8.45am - 3.30pm

Students will need to wear undertop as listed above, jeans and runners with their school sports polo top and school windcheater or school jumper to school.

NOTE AGAIN: All students need to wear a singlet, sports crop or similar as a base layer to allow for easy changing into their performance t-shirt (stored at school).

Monday 8th September Production Day

8:45am Students arrive at school.

Students will need to wear undertop as listed above, jeans and runners with their school sports polo top and school windcheater or school jumper to school.

NOTE AGAIN: All students need to wear a singlet, sports crop or similar as a base layer to allow for easy changing into their performance t-shirt (stored at school).

1:00pm - Matinee Performance

3.30pm - Students dismissed at school.

Students should relax and have an early meal at home. 

Their Care can support those children needing OHSC.

6:00pm - Students to arrive at school and make their way to their classroom. 

Students will need to wear undertop as listed above, jeans and runners with their school sports polo top and school windcheater or school jumper to school.

6:40pm - Logue Hall Doors Open

7pm - Evening Performance Commences

9:00pm - Students will return backstage to get changed and will be dismissed by their class teacher from the seating area of the hall to a parent/carer.

Tuesday 9th September Casual Comfy Clothes Day

In recognition of the late night before, students are encouraged to wear warm, comfy clothes (non-uniform) and will be engaged in soft start activities as they arrive. All students are encouraged to attend school by the beginning of recess. 

Imaginarium Showcases

In this Musical Term we will be changing the assembly presentations to feature musical “taster” of the school’s production of Drew Lane’s Imaginarium. Please see the dates below for the details of the dates. All presentations will appear as part of the usual Friday assembly in the Flexi-space.

Imaginarium - The New Musical by Drew Lane

Come on a journey into the mind of Alex, as we follow her throughout her life. From the moment she is born, Alex is joined by four different versions of herself.

Assisted by Mind, Muse, Dream and Motor, Alex's world is full of wonder and adventure. As she goes through the different stages of her life, Alex is driven by the creative spark that’s inside of her and the desire to do and be something extraordinary.

That is until she begins to lose her way and she has to confront the greatest challenge any of us can face, doubt in who we are. Will Alex give into Doubt, or can she hold onto the inspiration that sparked her creativity in the first place?
