Parents' Association and PAL organised events
As we wrap up Term 1, we are pleased to share some exciting progress across several Parent Association initiatives. Thank you to everyone who has contributed ideas, energy, and support throughout the term.
Funding Proposals Approved
We are delighted to confirm that three funding proposals were approved this term and are now underway:
- Parent Social Event – Our whole college Parent Sundowner has been scheduled for Saturday 19 September. It is shaping up to be an incredible event. This will be one not to miss!
- Flexible Seating for Primary – Wobble cushions, rocker chairs, and other flexible seating options are being introduced to support diverse sensory needs.
- Refurbishment of Angelo’s Village – Our much‑loved Primary play space will receive new toys and refreshed resources to enrich imaginative play.
A big thank‑you to the parents who have already shared suggestions for future funding proposals. We welcome more ideas. Term 2 proposals are due by the end of Week 2 (1 May).
If you have any suggestions for funding, please complete a proposal. The Funding Proposal form is available here.
Proposals must be submitted by 5pm on Friday of Week 2 to qualify for consideration at the upcoming Term meeting.

Inspire Parent Education Event
Our recent Inspire parent education session with Ashlee Harrison from Zero2Hero was a great success. We extend our sincere thanks to the Inspire Committee and The Fathering Project for organising such a valuable event for our community.

Save the date: Inspire Parent Evening with Dr Justin Coulson – Parental Guidance: Positive solutions for every family will be held at John XXIII College on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, 6:30pm–8:00pm, followed by refreshments.
