A Message for
Dr Cheryle Osborne
On behalf of everyone at Ormond Primary School – teachers, educators, administration, students, and parents – we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Cheryle Osborne, fondly known as Chez.
Though your time here was brief, your impact will endure far beyond your tenure as Acting Principal. Under your leadership, significant improvements were made to our grounds, including overseeing our turf project. You welcomed a new School Council and helped integrate new programs at OPS through collaboration with them. Your efforts in workforce planning and implementing our 2024 Annual Improvement Plan have been instrumental. Not to mention, introducing the Amplify music program and your role in organizing numerous community events have enriched our school life immeasurably.
Your dedication to education was recently recognised by Victorian Education, commemorating your outstanding 40 years of service – a testament to your commitment and passion.
Above all, your infectious enthusiasm, unwavering positivity, and the genuine connections you forged with every member of our school community will be cherished long after you leave.
As we wrap up the term, we encourage families to find their own ways to express gratitude to Cheryle.
Wishing you all the best in your future educational endeavors, Cheryle. Ormond won’t be the same without you.
Take care,
Aaron Jones
