Down on the Farm

The farm has been a hive of activity over the past couple of weeks, with lunchtimes especially busy as students head down to spend time with the animals. It’s been great to see how much the kids enjoy being around them and making the most of the chance to interact with them.

There’s been lots of patting and brushing going on, and plenty of excitement as students learn how to handle the animals gently and safely.

It’s always nice to see the kids taking their time with the animals, building confidence, and showing care and respect while they’re with them. The farm continues to be a really enjoyable space for students to relax, learn something new, and spend time with our animals.

As we head into the last few weeks of Term 1, I am starting to organise families for holiday farm duty. If you have some free time over the break and would like to help care for the animals, we would really appreciate your support.

If you have never done farm duty before and are thinking about helping out, I’m more than happy to show you what needs to be done before the holidays begin so you feel comfortable with the routine.

I have listed the available dates below. If you’re interested in helping out, please send me an email with your preferred dates and I will be in touch to confirm.
