DIOCESAN RUGBY UNION SELECTION

Last Friday we had 20 students play at the Gary McSweeney Cup and Diocesan Rugby trials. Thank you to Mr and Mrs Chatfield, Mr Kellow and Mr Kidd for looking after the teams on the day. Both the St Nicholas Green and St Nicholas Gold teams made it in to the semi-finals.

Well done to Max Hickey, Max Collett, Lincoln Baird and Noah Grimley who were selected in the Armidale Diocesan team to compete at the Polding carnival in Forbes on Sunday 29 and Monday 30 June 2025.

TOUCH FOOTBALL GRAND FINALS

On Monday three St Nicholas teams were in the grand final of touch football - St Nichs Leopards, St Nichs Goats and St Nichs Vipers. The Leopards were runners-up in the 3/4 boys competition and the 5/6 boys grand final between the Vipers and the Goats was won by the Goats. I was proud to see the sportsmanship of all the players.
