Religious Education  

This unit invites students to explore the Nicene Creed as a foundational statement of faith and a source of unity within the Catholic Church. 

Marking the context of the Jubilee Year 2025 (the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea), students will journey as "Pilgrims of Hope" to unpack the historical origins, theological depth, and communal significance of the Creed. 

Students will examine how the Creed articulates our understanding of the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) and the Church. 

Moving beyond a recitation of words, this unit challenges students to reflect deeply on how communal and personal beliefs actively shape their thoughts, feelings, and actions as peacemakers in the world.
