Work Experience
Several Year 9 and 10 students have been busy with work experience over the past few weeks.
In Year 10, Josh Goldspink had a great time learning about repairing and servicing trucks at JT Fossey Trucks in Tamworth, while Chloe Atkins spent two weeks at TG's Childcare and she impressed the staff so much she was offered a School Based Traineeship for 2026. Tahlia Cox has recently finished her second week at Face to Face Beauty Salon and she received a positive report. Apple Kulakool is currently in her second week working with the bakers at Moxons and is loving it immensely. Christian Dulay worked alongside tradesmen and apprentices at Armidale Automotive Group working on a wide variety of cars and is now convinced he would like to become a mechanic.
In Year 9, Millie Hunt was kept busy at Rocky River Public School working with students and staff learning the art of teaching. Her excellent report suggested she could be a great teacher in the future.
