Polding Athletics Championships (Primary)
On Friday 12th September Primary students
travelled to Glendale to compete in the
ACS Polding Championships. A HUGE congratulations to all that competed, especially Leo T who came 3rd in the 13 years 100m.

Will S - Junior 800m & 1500m.

NSWCCC Athletics
Championships (Secondary)
On Monday 15th September we had a number of students attend the Secondary NSWCCC Carnival in Sydney. Congratulations to all our students who competed.
Medal Winners were -
Shaylyn S - Gold 14yr Girls High Jump
Shaylyn S - Bronze 14yr Girls Long Jump
Shaylyn S - competed in 14yr Girls 100m & 200m events.
Ella M - Competed in 12yr Girls 100m event.
Jaydah D - Competed in 14yr Girls 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m & 1500m events.
A Special congratulations to Jaydah D for competing in 2 extra events while in Sydney.
Primary Dio Gala Day - Soccer/Netball
Soccer-
The Gala day in Inverell was a fabulous second last day of term! From spectacular goals to determined defence, every player gave their best effort both on the field and on the sidelines. The students from St Philomena’s really showed up with pride and excellent sportsmanship- never missing a chance to cheer each other on. The Year 3 and 4 teams even had a hard battle against each other in one game! It was really fabulous to see the enthusiasm of everyone and we cannot wait to see our students bring the same energy to the next gala day!
Netball-
Three netball teams showcased fantastic team spirit at the recent netball gala day. Many new skills were learnt and everyone enjoyed the friendly competition. A huge congratulations to Phillies Red for their impressive run, making it all the way to the semi-finals!
