Principal's Report

Building contracts are signed and buildings will be ready by April next year. We are building an art room, high school toilets and a science lab, teaching room. This will conclude our high school building for now as we already have a general classroom and an outdoor area. 

This is a milestone for our school as we do not get much government support for buildings in the Northern Territory. And building is expensive in Alice Springs. The students are excited and looking forward to the new facilities

High School Building Milestone

We are pleased to share that building contracts are signed and our new facilities will be ready by April next year. This stage of our building program includes an art room, a science lab and teaching room, and new high school toilets. Together with our existing general classroom and outdoor area, these new spaces will complete our high school building program for now.

Our builders, Edifice, will be starting any day now as we wait for the last of the required permits to come through.

This is a significant milestone for our school. In the Northern Territory, schools receive very little government support for building projects, and construction in Alice Springs is particularly costly. Reaching this point has taken careful planning and strong community commitment.

Our students are excited and looking forward to learning and creating in these new spaces, which will serve our school for many years to come.
