As we move further into the term, learning across the school has settled into a strong rhythm. It has been wonderful to see students returning to their classrooms ready to learn, with lots of positive engagement and great progress already taking place.
Beginning this week, our Year 3 and Year 5 students will begin NAPLAN testing. We wish them all the best as they approach these assessments with confidence and a positive mindset. Our teachers have been supporting students through their regular classroom learning, and we are proud of the effort they continue to show each day.
Sport has been ramping up, with a number of opportunities for students to participate in AFL, soccer and rugby league events and trials throughout the term. These events provide great opportunities for students to represent our school, develop teamwork and enjoy being active.
A HUGE congratulations to Dante Giorgi who broke the record for the 50m freestyle at the LNPSSA Swimming Carnival!
Please also save the date for our first school assembly on Wednesday 2 April, which will take place after the Easter Hat Parade. We look forward to welcoming families to celebrate student achievements and share what has been happening across the school.
We have a new addition to the K/1 class room - Meet Goldie and Marshmallow!
