A Magical Event — Thank You

What an AMAZING day we had at our Spring Magic Market on Saturday. 

The weather was perfect and the school ‘was a vibe’! It was spectacular to see our whole community come together and show everyone just how special our school is! We certainly are a talented and passionate community.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who made the day possible. To our incredible volunteers, generous families, enthusiastic students, staff, stallholders and everyone who donated, baked, cooked, served, sang, danced, played, created, supervised or organised — we simply couldn’t have done it without you! 

There are so many people who deserve a special mention;

• Organising Committee — Jo, Vanessa, Iva, Kirsty-Lee and Sarah who met tirelessly from July planning every detail of the market. It paid off. A massive thank you to the unwavering Ange for all of your hours of time, commitment and support. You and the school office team are rockstars!
• Special thanks to Sarah and Heather for your creative graphic design work. 
• Stall Leaders - Nam, Danny, Simon, Jack, Filippo, Carl, Paul, Henry, Atika, Augi, Ghea, Christa & Lung, Chelsea, Stefan, Di & Ben, Seamus, Wendy, Naomi, Linda, Andrew, Aline, Sarah, Judith, Tahnee, Jane, Anna, Ruth, Kristy-Lee, Lucy, Raf (Lego) and Kate. 
• Music Teams — Nathan, Denis, Mal, Jo. All the school bands, choir and singers you were fab. Thank you to all local and community musicians. Our parent band Children Of Sprout were a huge highlight that brought the house down at sunset!
• Set-up and Pack-up Crew — this was a mammoth amount of work, with so many people (and fairy lights!) involved but special mention goes out to the wonderful Pete, you are an absolute gem. Also, Darren, Sam, Ian, Kyle, Rob, Nathan & all the people who supported on Friday, Saturday and gratefully to clean up the school on Sunday! Thank you 🙏
• Leadership and School Staff — Ange, Audrie, Mayii, Keir, Emma, Laxmi, Narrah and all of the OSCH crew. Special thanks to the senior cohort especially Emma, Jesse and Andrew for organising and running the carnival games.
• ALL THE VOLUNTEERS — everyone who helped across the market! It takes a lot of people to pull off an event of this size. We hope you had fun, made connections and felt the MAGIC that is BNWPS Spring Magic Market. 

Thank you also to all our suppliers. Carl and Salvatore at ManFred Wine and Moon Dog for supplying the drinks for the bar. Food supply from Nino and Joe's, Alex Makes Meals, Bakers Delight, Billy Van Creamery, Good Vibes, Ivan's Pies, Medina Meats and Matt and Emma Steensam from Durkin Potatoes. We are so lucky to have these wonderful connections. ManFred Wine Bar is opening soon in Brunswick. Let's get out and support our school community.

Also a big thank you to the Melbourne Comedy Festival for donating the main stage, furniture and equipment. 

Collection of items

If you lent any items or needed to collect your cake/treat containers there is a large stack in the hallway at school. Please email the team if you are missing anything or you have lost property. There have been a few things pick up at the pack up
