The Ripple Effect

An original environmental adventure inspired by The Little Mermaid. Created and performed by Brunswick North West Primary School.

Performance Date: Thursday 29th of October 4:30 - 5:30pm on the Oval

Student work from the ‘Water’ Inquiry will be exhibited in classrooms during the afternoon before the show. Ticketing Information to be released shortly. Something strange is happening beneath the waves. The coral is losing its colour, the currents are getting warmer, and a mysterious pipe is leading towards the human world above. While everyone else would rather not ask questions, Ariel is determined to find out why.

With help from travelling turtles, a fortune-telling sea witch and four very sneaky seagulls. Ariel sets off on an unexpected adventure to discover what’s making the Ocean sick, and if one small voice really can make a difference.

A magical and hopeful underwater adventure about staying curious, looking up, and discovering how one small ripple can grow into a wave.

WE ARE SEARCHING FOR SOME ADULT HELPERS: - SEWERS with some extra time over the school holidays/early Term 4 to help create our grade 5/6 Main Cast’s Costumes. - CRAFTY HUMANS who are free for some Tuesdays 11:30 - 1:30pm (Week 1 - 3 Term 4) and would like to assist our 5/6 backstage crew with some large-scale puppets they are creating. OR Wednesdays 9 - 11am  (Week 1 - 3 Term 4) to assist the 5/6 backstage crew with painting/building large sets.
