FROM OUR SOCIAL JUSTICE LEADERS

On Monday, we had the St. Vincent De Paul Van come out to collect our AMAZING collection of Hoodies, Wollies and Winter Goodies. Karl the SVDP volunteer was shocked that we filled up the entire van with our donations. He said that all of our donations will be used by the St Vincent De Paul Society across the city of Melbourne but especially in their most busy area: Kensington.

He spoke to us about how nightly, he can have up to 150 people come to his van for supplies, support or a friendly chat and that many of the people he supports live in tents or makeshift camps in small corners of the city to stay warm.

We would like to send a special THANK YOU to all of our school community for the donations and for making our project feel very special to those who are less fortunate than us.

Next Wednesday we will present this Project to other St. Vincent De Paul School groups - known as the "Mini Vinnies" - and share the wonderful support our school community gave to this project.

2026 SACRAMENTS

Sacrament Celebrations at Our Lady’s Primary School for 2026 have now concluded. 2027 dates will be posted late 2026 for families preparing for their next Sacrament Celebrations.

Families who have baptised children in the Catholic Faith must ensure that baptism certificates were presented during enrolment. If you are unsure, it is better to be safe than to wonder, please bring in a copy of your child’s baptism certificate to be added to their file. 

Parents of children in the Chaldean, Maronite, Syrian, Syro Malabar or other Eastern Christian faith are asked to do the same if they would like their child/ren to receive the Sacraments with OLPS in the future.
