1/2 Aviators

This term in writing, 1/2 Aviators have been learning to write simple and informative sentences using noun groups, verbs, and describing words. Students have enjoyed observing ducklings hatch and grow and have used this experience to create detailed sentences and stories.
They have also been learning to write persuasive texts while using conjunctions such as “and”, “but”, and “so” to connect their ideas. Students are continuing to build confidence by re-reading and editing their work to improve meaning and add more detail.
