Book Fair 2025 – Week 7 Announcement!

I’m excited to announce that our annual Book Fair will be held in Week 7! This is a wonderful opportunity for your children to explore and discover new books that will ignite their imagination and foster a lifelong love of reading. The Book Fair will feature a wide selection of books for all ages and reading levels.

We encourage you to visit the Book Fair with your children and support their reading journey. Every book purchased helps our school earn valuable commission which goes straight back into our library ensuring that our students have the latest titles and resources.

If you cannot make the fair, your child is welcome to create a wish list to bring home which you can take a look at and place an order online should you wish to do so. 

We hope to see you at the Scholastic Book Fair! Let’s work together to inspire a love of reading in our children and support our school community.

Dress-Up Parade.

On Thursday 4th September our Dress up Parade will commence in the undercover area at 9am. Come dressed as your favourite book character. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed!

Our amazing Education Assistant, Mrs. O’Leary, entered Marangaroo PS into a competition to win a bundle of books all about farming — and we’re thrilled to announce that we were chosen!

In Term 4, we’ll be focusing on farming and helping students connect with the earth, food, and life on the farm. As part of this exciting journey, we’ll also be running seed-planting activities during library lunchtime. 

A huge thank you to George the Farmer for this wonderful opportunity. We can’t wait to get our hands dirty and learn more about where our food comes from!
