Miss Amerena's African Adventure
This September, Grace Amerena, our PE teacher, has the incredible opportunity to volunteer in Tanzania, working directly with children in need. This experience is not just a trip, it’s a chance to make a meaningful impact in communities that face daily challenges with limited resources and opportunities.
Grace will be dedicating her time, energy, and heart to supporting children in Africa by helping them access education, develop essential life skills, and feel valued through care and compassion. She hopes to carry with her the meaningful lessons she has both learned and shared with the wonderful children at St Mark’s, and pass them on to the children she meets abroad.
Grace is seeking support to raise funds that will directly benefit the children and communities she’ll be working with in Africa. Your donation will help provide essential items such as school supplies, hygiene products, and learning materials. It will also contribute to local projects focused on improving the wellbeing and future opportunities of these children giving them the chance to learn, grow, and thrive in safe and nurturing environments. Any support, big or small, will be deeply appreciated.
