New autex was installed up high in our ILE over the holidays.
Above Left: Our room 30 verandah was upgraded with an ocean theme in the holidays.
Above Right: The staffroom water cyclinder also needed an upgrade.
Our staffroom also received a big upgrade over the holidays. Previously we had one narrow area to fit everything into. One sink, one bench, one workspace and over 70 people using it at a time. It was a big log-jam of a problem. Thanks to the wisdom of Board member Lole Tipi, we now have an open-plan kitchen with three workspaces, two benches and lots of storage - our staff love it. We still have stone bench-tops and splash backs to install - hopefully completed in the next fortnight.
Huge thanks to Ben, Eddie and the team from Total Property Services - they were so onto it, so fast and did a brilliant job.
