Acting Head of Sport Report

Welcome back to Term 2. We have lots happening this term with the commencement of the ISA Winter Sport competitions, ISA Cross Country, HICES Cross Country and the School Athletics Carnival. Make sure you are following Schoolbox closely for information and event updates.

Just a few reminders regarding Winter Sport:

Bus Times

Bus and game times will be communicated via Schoolbox by Wednesday each week. Please ensure you check these times carefully. Please note changes can occur so check later in the week for any updates.

Arrival at Bus Stop

Students are required to be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes prior to the listed departure time found on the Sport Fixtures.

Please note that the time provided is a departure time, not an arrival time. Buses must leave promptly and will not wait for late students to ensure teams arrive at fixtures on time.

Uniform Requirements

All players must be in full Winter sports uniform when boarding the bus. Hoodies are not permitted. Firsts' team is to wear their Full Winter Uniform on the bus and are to change at the venue.

Return Times

Return times may vary depending on the conclusion of matches and travel (there is an estimate provided on the sport fixtures). Students are responsible for communicating with parents regarding their expected return time once departure from the venue is confirmed.

We wish all students the very best for the first round of games this term. Play hard, support your teammates, and represent the school with pride. Good luck to everyone for a great start to the season!

This is the highest level of netball in NSW sitting just under the Suncorp Super Netball League. A fantastic achievement and we wish Jess all the best this season.
