Year 11 Geography Fieldtrip to Croydon

On Wednesday 25th March the Year 11 Geography class attended our first fieldtrip of the year. We are studying flash flooding in urban areas and our focus location for our field work report is the Croydon Civic Precinct and Tarralla Wetlands in Croydon.

We spent the day collecting data and taking photographs to use in our reports for our next SAC. Well done to everyone for your excellent participation and engagement on the day.

Thanks go to Mr Luke Ervine, Integrated Water Engineer from Maroondah City Council for his time and expertise on the day (and giving us a behind the scenes tour of the flood mitigation infrastructure in the area). It really made our learning so much richer for having him there!
