Competition Time!
Competitions are a great way of getting the kids designing, creating and using their imaginations. Please find below two competitions that your children may choose to enter.
For Year 5/6 Students
The Parliament of Australia Student Artwork Project invites Australian Years 5 and 6 students to submit creations celebrating 100 years of Parliament in Canberra. Selected works will light up the Australian Parliament House facade during the 26 February – 8 March 2027 Enlighten Festival. Entries close 5:00 PM on Thursday, 29 October 2026.

For All Students
The 2026 Design a Spriggy Card Competition is a free-to-enter art contest for Australian kids aged 18 and under. Participants create an original card design on an official template for a chance to win $500 in savings and other prizes. Entries close on 15 November 2026 at 11:59 pm AEDT.

While we discuss these competitions in class, entries need to be completed and submitted from home with consent from a parent.
