Term 4 Week 2
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back everyone to Term 4. It has been wonderful to see everyone return to school after the holidays ready to tackle all that Term 4 has in store for us. Events and activities come thick and fast in Term 4 so in order to keep up to date with what is happening, please make sure you are checking your Events Tab on the Compass parent portal.
As we know 2025 is a Jubilee Year, a special time in the Church for prayer and renewal, it happens every 25 years. Each Jubilee year has a theme. The theme this year is 'Pilgrims of Hope'. Last Wednesday Mrs. Dunst and I had the absolute pleasure of taking our school captains and vice captains to the Southern Deanery Mass at St Bridget's Parish in Quirindi. This was the final Deanery Mass to celebrate the Jubilee Year of Hope. It was a wonderful way to start the term and a special occasion for our school leaders to be a part of. Our captains also had the opportunity to view the model of the Cathedral and relics from Saints.
Next week, commencing on Wednesday, all our St Nicholas students will make a Pilgrimage to St Nicholas Church to learn about cathedrals, cathedra (Official throne or seat of the Bishop), the Bishop and relics. These items are important parts of our faith and help us understand our Church's history. Thank you to Mrs Dunst for organising this Pilgrimage for all our students.
Tuition Fees
As we approach the end of the 2025 school year, I would like to thank all our families for their contribution through paying school fees. Timely payment of fees ensures that the school can continue to provide high-quality resources, programs, and support for all students. If you have already settled your account, we sincerely thank you. We kindly remind all families that school fees must be paid in full by the 21 November 2025 as outlined in your Statement of School Fees.
Have a wonderful week,
Peter Flynn
Principal
