EHS Centenary Concert

Concert Details: Celebrating the centennial year of Eltham High School, the Music Department Alumni and Friends return to the stage for an evening honouring the rich history of the school’s wind program.

Conducted by Ken Waterworth, Manabu Inou, Sally Davis, and Rick Keenan, the concert features performances from the Eltham High School Symphonic Band, Alumni Symphonic Winds and Alumni Symphonic Band.

These Alumni ensembles feature alumni, past teachers, conductors and friends of the program from recent years and from the music programs beginnings.

Audiences will hear landmark works by Percy Grainger, James Barnes, Omar Thomas and more, alongside a featured double bass solo performance from Benjamin Hanlon. Spanning generations of musicians, the program reflects the enduring legacy, community and musical excellence of the department.
